Can I use my cheap DVD player on my LCD HD TV?
I recently bought a LCD HDTV and wanted to watch a DVD. When I connected my player I got everything exept colour. Do I need a special cable or a whole new HDTV compatible DVD player? I do have HDTV service.

I can only think two possibilities, first color system is not match between your TV and your player/DVD disc. If your TV is multy system try to switch the color system to auto. Second check the connection that you use maybe you are using the component but only connect the Y (green) connector.
