It may be cheaper around $200-300.I would suggest Samsung or Sony which is good quality.

you can do all of your research and purchasing by using http://www.tweaktv.com/comparisonTool.php. It really helped me out because they have recommended TV’s as well. Not sure how pricing will change around holiday times, but it is a very cool, free interface.
