I bought this tv the other day at best buy for 2800 and plus tax it’s like 3139 dlls so it’s a good deal..

And picture quality is so PERFECT!

OK, good to know. So I made the right choice with the Samsun then. Took delivery of it at the weekend and incredibly impressed thus far.
Gaming is sensational and HD a joy to behold! I do recommend. Loads of options for fine tuning the picture and a beautiful interface.
Looks really slick too and a stuuning new additional to the lounge.

The point is it’s not perfection - v. few are without spending a fortune. It’s perfectly good though & better than most.

Compared with new G Series Pannasonic 40″ plasma which should have excelled. But overall image quality of the Samsung was far superior - Panasonic v. grainy; Samsung smooth & bright. Also compared Sony W series. Good picture but not as pretty. No interest in sound issues as use home cinema anyway. And no need for SCARTS (old Tech) as all HDMI, RGB or Optical.

Have purchased!
