The best sales I’ve seen are typically Father’s Day and Black Friday. But you have to be careful on those big sales events. A lot of the time the best sales are on the worst quality merchandise. So you can get a dirt cheap TV, but its not a good TV. Though those sale days can get you good prices on the better TVs as well (just not as earth shattering as the other ones).

I would really consider Amazon frankly. They have some of the best prices you will find all year long. They usually beat most retailers (even many retailer sales). I would definitely check out their stocks.

At 37" right now on Amazon,

Panasonic TC-L37G1 1080p 120Hz $750
Sony KDL-40W5100 1080p 120Hz $919
- Sony doesn’t make 37", only 40"
Samsung LN37B650 1080p 120Hz $1.034
LG 37LH40 1080p 120Hz $720

I would recommend the Panasonic myself. I think it will give better image quality and reliability than the LG, and isn’t too much more expensive. That is the 37" set I would buy for sure.
