How can I remove silver permanent marker from the back of my flat panel tv?
I bought a LCD TV from a pawn shop the other day. They have written a long item number or something, as well as the price on the back of the TV in silver permanent marker. Usually rubbing alcohol takes off black permanent marker but thats not doing the trick. What else can I do?

As you have tried Acetone you could try Cellulose thinner.
Don`t forget though some of these markers are simply water soluble.
