Samsung HPT5054 Television

Whether you are in a dark room or in broad daylight, the picture remains amazingly crisp and vibrant, thanks to Samsung’s FilterBright anti reflection technology. Even in moonlit scenes, the HP-T5054’s 15,000:1 contrast ratio and 18-bit technology let you see every shadowy detail and natural, rich color. Samsung also introduces an innovative auto-pixel-shift technology that makes picture “burn-in” a thing of the past. Control all your CED-compliant digital devices through the one HP-T5054 remote.

Bought this flat screen about 2 months ago. Was impress with the
picture quality from the start.
Price to performance ratio was hard to beat. Setting-up and connecting to a home theater system was a breeze. Using the remote and its features was very easy and intuitive. I highly recommend this Flat screen.
Pro : Clear, Crips picture, ease of use
Con : Built-in speakers are just okay
AFTER A LOT OF RESEARCH ON PLASMA AND LCD SETS THIS UNIT SEEMS TO GIVE THE BEST QAULITY FOR THE PRICE. I ALSO HAVE A SAMSUNG 61" DLP AND HAVE BEEN VERY HAPPY WITH THAT TV. I LET THE KIDS PLAY THEIR VIDEO GAMES ON THE DLP BECAUSE OF MY CONCERN FOR ANY OF THE BURN IN FACTOR AND WATCH THE PLASMA FOR MOVIES. I HAVE HAD IT FOR A LITTLE OVER A WEEK AND HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS YET AND DO NOT EXPECT TO.
Pro : PICTURE, PRICE,SIZE
Con : NONE
i went to a couple of stores before i bought a new tv. i shopped around for a week and i came across this tv. i saw it on display and i was amazed with the quality. i just wish this was 1080p.
anyhow….i bought it for $1299 including a 5 year warranty
tv was a little too big, wouldnt fit in my CRV so i had to open the box to fit it in my SUV. when i got home i set it up immediately and it was very easy to setup. i saved my self $70 from getting it installed from a professional. anyways, i set it up and turned on the tv and WOW, the picture was amazing and guess what?
i didnt upgrade to hd programing…haha and im still amazed with the quality and when i play my dvdz…dam…i was blown away…if ur looking for a new tv…cant to wrong with this one…
there are a few things i dont like
one the the resolution(720p) and the speakers i made a mistake i should of spent a few hundred dollars more and bought a tv that had 1080p
oh well…this is still good….
Pro : 50in(very nice) reasonable price, excelent quality, changes the whole perspective of watching tv
Con : 720p, speakers are not satisfactory(thats why you use your home theater!)
